Dr. Bae's first interest in dentistry came during his part-time employment in an orthodontist’s office in Westwood, California. His passion for medicine and dental surgery lead to his career as an Oral Surgeon. Dr. Bae maintains hospital privileges at INOVA Loudoun & INOVA Fair Oaks Hospitals. His work and life philosophy is to constantly strive for better, and is always improving with the latest techniques & technology while providing a comfortable patient experience.
The cone beam CT scan system gives our oral and maxillofacial practice state-of-the-art technology to help Dr. Bae diagnose potential issues more accurately and provide treatment with unprecedented confidence. Unlike a traditional spiral CT scanner, this 3D system utilizes cone beam CT technology and provides precise, crystal-clear digital images while minimizing your exposure to radiation, oftentimes 10 times less than having a medical CT scan! Our new 3D system enables us to perform a wider range of diagnoses and treatments in our office, helping to reduce multiple visits.

Bone Regeneration
Using Leukocyte Platelet-Rich Fibrin (L-PRF) and Bone Morphogenetic Protein (BMP)
If necessary, we use bone grafting to regenerate bone tissue in your jaw to support an implant. We combine biologics and stem cells to maximize a patient’s bone regeneration. Biologics is a product derived from components of living organisms, and our doctors use L-PRF, a type of platelet in your blood, to create personalized bone grafting material or a biologic. Crafting bone grafting materials that utilize L-PRF from your blood and BMP (a protein that forms bones during embryonic development) result in superior bone regrowth, accelerated healing, and excellent bone quality.
